Knicks 133, Pistons 111 (9-2) Now and Then rip
Defense went out the window in this one as the Pistons gave up a then season high 133 points to the New York Knicks. Patrick Ewing in particular took the Pistons to task with 37 points and all five Knicks starters scored at least a dozen each.
The Pistons guard duo had a tough time in this one. Joe Dumars scored just five points while Isiah Thomas scored 12. Adrian Dantley led all Pistons with 25 and Bill Laimbeer pitched in with 20.
John Salley and Vinnie Johnson both scored sixteen off the bench. Dennis Rodman scored seven and grabbed nine rebounds.
