The Pistons took care of business last night against the Washington Wizards as the Pistons took their third straight game. At the end of the first, it was a two point game but the Pistons broke out in the second quarter, gave most of that lead back in the third, then dominated in the fourth quarter to take the game 88-74.
Allen Iverson led the way and he scored 28 with six rebounds. Tayshaun Prince grabbed ten boards and scored 14 while Rodney Stuckey had eighteen points and an impressive eleven assists. The Pistons only went eight deep in this one and Antonio McDyess was the bench warrior. He scored 10 and grabbed nine boards. The Pistons held the Wizards to just .333 shooting and they had seven steals and seven blocks.
Next up are a solid Jazz team in at the Palace. It’d be nice if the Cavs would lose more then a game here and there because despite the Pistons mini-run, they’re still six games back.
